Roof Replacement and Gutters, Done Right in North Georgia

We tear off, inspect the deck and install a full roof system built to handle Georgia storms. Every job starts and ends with a drone flyover, so you see the same roof we do.

Who you are hiring

A roofing crew that shows you the roof, not just the invoice

Most homeowners never see the top of their own house. That is exactly where the shortcuts hide. GSP Exterior Works flies every property before the estimate and again after the last shingle goes down, so you know what was wrong, what we replaced and what it looks like finished.

  • Full tear off and deck inspection, no shingling over old layers
  • Synthetic underlayment, ice and water shield in the valleys, proper ridge ventilation
  • Yard magnet sweep and full cleanup before we leave the driveway
  • One crew, one point of contact, from the first call to the final flyover

What we do

Roofing, gutters and everything the weather hits first

Architectural asphalt shingles going down over synthetic underlayment during a GSP roof replacement

Roofing

Full replacements and repairs on architectural shingle systems. We tear off to the deck, replace any rotted sheathing, run synthetic underlayment and ice and water shield where the code and the valleys call for it, then vent the ridge so the attic stops cooking your shingles from underneath.

Gutters

Seamless aluminum gutters cut on site to your exact runs, with downspouts placed to move water away from the foundation instead of into your crawlspace. Gutter guards available so you stop climbing a ladder every fall to pull out oak leaves.

Exterior Solutions

Soffit, fascia and exterior trim. The pieces that rot quietly behind a gutter line and end up costing more than the roof. We handle them in the same trip so your house gets buttoned up once instead of three separate contractors and three separate messes.

Shingle colors

Pick the color before we order the material

Architectural shingles come in blends, not flat colors, so the roof reads differently depending on the light and on what your brick or trim is doing next to it. These are the families we install most across North Georgia. Tap one to see it larger.

Screens shift color. Use these to narrow it down, then we bring physical sample boards to the house and hold them against your brick and trim before anything is ordered. Available colors depend on the manufacturer and the line we spec for your roof.

How it works

Four steps, no surprise line items

STEP 01

Free drone inspection

We fly the roof and photograph every slope, valley and penetration. You get the images whether or not you hire us.

STEP 02

Written scope and price

Materials, layers, ventilation and cleanup, all spelled out. If insurance is involved, we walk the adjuster through the same photos.

STEP 03

Install day

Landscaping tarped, driveway protected, crew on site early. Most residential roofs are torn off and finished the same day.

STEP 04

Final flyover

Magnet sweep for nails, walkthrough with you, then one last flight so you keep a clean set of after photos for your records.

Storm and hail

Storm damage and insurance claims

North Georgia takes hail and straight line wind every spring, and most of the damage never shows up from the ground. Bruised shingles, lifted ridge caps and cracked pipe boots turn into an attic leak two seasons later, long after the claim window closed.

If a storm just went through your neighborhood, get the roof looked at while the evidence is still there. We fly it, mark what we find and hand you the photo set. If there is a claim worth filing we will meet the adjuster on site and walk the scope with them. If there is not, we will tell you that too.

Active leak gets covered before anything else happens.

We work north of Atlanta

GSP is based in North Georgia and stays there. That means a crew that knows the local code, the local inspectors and what a Georgia hail season actually does to a twenty year old roof. If your county is on this list, we can be out to look at it.

Straight answers

Questions homeowners ask us first

It comes down to square footage, pitch, how many layers are coming off and what shape the decking is in underneath. Anyone who quotes you over the phone without seeing the roof is guessing. We fly it, measure it and hand you a written number that does not move unless we find rotted sheathing, and even that has a per sheet price agreed up front.

Most residential roofs in Forsyth and Cherokee are torn off and finished in one day. Larger homes with steep or complex rooflines can run into a second day. Either way, we do not leave a roof open overnight without it being dried in.

Yes. Hail and wind damage is common through this part of Georgia and a lot of it is not visible from the ground. We document the damage from the air, give you the photo set and meet the adjuster on site so nothing gets missed in the scope.

Often, yes. If the shingles still have life in them and the problem is a flashing detail, a few blown off shingles or a pipe boot that dried out, a repair is the honest answer and that is what we will tell you. We will also tell you when a repair is money thrown at a roof that is already done.

Beds and shrubs get tarped, the driveway gets protected before anything comes off the roof, and we run a magnet over the yard and the drive before we pull out. Nails in a tire is the fastest way to lose a customer, so we take that part seriously.

That is the smartest time to do it. Gutters have to come down or get worked around anyway, and running seamless gutter right after the roof means one crew, one mobilization and no seam where the two jobs meet. It usually saves money compared to booking them separately.

Usually within a couple of days, faster if there is an active leak or storm damage. Call (770) 899-4799 or send the form and we will get the flyover on the calendar.
